Who this is for
Adults starting Korean from nothing, who would rather learn alongside a few other people than alone with an app.
What you will be able to do
Read any Hangul syllable block aloud, pronounce the consonant contrasts English does not have, and introduce yourself in Korean without translating in your head first.
How a session runs
Fifty minutes of guided practice on a prepared topic, with short paired exchanges so everyone speaks, and corrections gathered at the end rather than interrupting you mid-sentence.
Questions
- Do I need to know anything before I start?
- No. This group assumes you are starting from zero, including if you have tried an app and can recognize a few letters without reading a word aloud.
- How many people are in the group?
- Five at most, kept at the same starting level so nobody is left behind or held back.
- When does the next group start?
- A group starts once five learners at the same level have registered. Join the waitlist and we will write to you with proposed times.
- What if the times do not suit me?
- We ask for your time zone when you register, and we group learners who can attend the same hour. Nothing is scheduled until the group agrees.
